Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg Pork, ideally shoulder Cut in fist-sized pieces to facilitate cooking
  • 1 Onion, minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup Red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup HP Sauce
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/3 can Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Mustard powder
  • 1 tbsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Salt flower

Preparation

Place everything in slow cooker, trying to drown the meat in the sauce.

Cook on low for 8 hours.

Sauce may be a bit liquidy when retiring the meat, feel free to thicken by any means necessary.
